Job title: Engineer Production

About the Role Copeland is seeking an Engineer Production onsite in Atit, India to plan, execute, and optimize production processes, with a focus on Final Pack Lines. This role ensures on-time shipments, drives Lean improvements, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain quality, safety, and efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, schedule and monitor production activities to ensure efficient use of resources and meet service levels
  • Manage Final Pack Lines, apply lean management, and coordinate with other departments to resolve production issues
  • Ensure export and domestic shipments are completed on time and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Train operators, enable multi-skilling, and promote 5S, quality, safety, and production discipline
  • Evaluate and maintain equipment for optimum performance; prepare and present production reports to management
  • Lead productivity improvement projects, Kaizen, headcount utilization, and manpower planning with timelines
  • Ensure adherence to ISO QMS, EMS, and OH&S certifications
  • Support safety, quality, and inventory management activities, including BOM control and cost reduction initiatives
  • Maintain 5S standards and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or BE in any stream
  • 2–3 years of experience in mass production & manufacturing; HVAC industry experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and production management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to work with minimum supervision
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; good data-driven decision making
  • Knowledge of escalation processes and adherence to quality standards

Nice to Have

  • HVAC industry experience
  • Lean manufacturing and Kaizen familiarity
  • 5S, ISO QMS, EMS, OH&S knowledge
