About the Role
This position commonly reports to the Facilities Manager and may perform one or more of the following engineering functions: Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Controls Engineering. The incumbent provides expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of products, processes, plans and procedures. It involves designing methods to improve efficiency in production, reduce process variability, and assure compliance with approved methods and quality standards, exercising discretion and independent judgment in evaluating possible courses of action.
What You'll Do
- Perform engineering functions in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Controls Engineering.
- Provide expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of products, processes, plans and procedures.
- Design methods to improve efficiency in production, reduce process variability, and assure compliance with approved methods and quality standards; exercise discretion and independent judgment in evaluating possible courses of action.
What We're Looking For
- Engineering background in Process, Manufacturing, or Controls Engineering; ability to analyze and apply expert judgment for design and development of processes.
- Experience designing methods to improve production efficiency and reduce variability while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills to evaluate potential courses of action.
