We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Summary

• The role requires strong technical knowledge, practical engineering skills, attention to detail, and the ability to supervise technicians and contractors to ensure that projects are completed safely, correctly, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, specifications, and technical documents.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and material requirements.
• Review designs to ensure compliance with required technical standards
• Supervise mechanical installation and construction works.
• Coordinate technicians, welders, fabricators, contractors, and other site personnel.
• Ensure installations are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications, inspoect completed works for quality.
• Monitor project progress and report issues to management.
• Ensure proper testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with company standards and applicable engineering requirements.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout projects.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance reports, site reports, and project updates.
• Document completed installations and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree
• Experience in the elevator/lift industry, fabrication, construction, or industrial machinery will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining, and workshop practices.
• Ability to use engineering measuring tools and equipment..
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering design software.
• Good understanding of engineering calculations and measurements.

• Ability to supervise workers and contractors.

• Good planning and organizational skills.

• Attention to detail.
