About the Role Engineer II, Electrical Hardware will be part of the Tools & Outdoors team in a hybrid role, focused on delivering wireless connectivity hardware for professional power tool products. The role involves participating in the full product lifecycle from concept through design, mass manufacturing, and ongoing lifecycle support. What You'll Do
- Implement wireless connectivity hardware for professional power tool products that satisfy end user needs in the Global Tools and Storage business unit.
- Learn product development milestones in a world-class product management system from concept through design, mass manufacturing, and full product cycle life support.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design new products and platforms, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and reports. What We're Looking For
- Electrical/hardware engineering background with experience or familiarity in wireless connectivity hardware for professional power tool products.
- Ability to learn and manage product development milestones across the lifecycle in a product management system, from concept to mass manufacturing.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, modify, and improve products and production techniques; ability to develop test procedures.
- Strong skills in creating and maintaining technical documentation, schematics, and reports.
