About the Role Join ASM as a Field Service Engineer leveraging your military discipline and hands-on experience to support advanced semiconductor tools at customer sites. You’ll contribute to tool performance, uptime, and customer success, while training and growing in a world-class technology environment. What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ASM semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and process issues in collaboration with senior engineering staff.
- Deliver responsive, customer-focused service with a strong emphasis on safety and operational discipline.
- Work in cleanroom environments following strict safety and quality standards.
- Contribute to tool uptime, performance, and customer satisfaction through hands-on support and collaborative problem solving.
- Engage with vacuum systems, plasma, chemical delivery, robotics, sensors, metrology, and other complex hardware-software interactions. What We're Looking For
- Military experience maintaining mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems; disciplined, methodical troubleshooting approach.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
- Experience in field service or equipment maintenance; ability to diagnose and solve issues at customer sites.
- Willingness to work alternate shifts and travel to customer sites as needed.
- Strong safety culture and ability to work in cleanroom environments. Nice to Have
- Military experience with avionics, electronics, propulsion, navigation, communications, radar, robotics, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with vacuum systems, plasma, chemical delivery, robotics, metrology, or complex hardware/software interactions.
