About the Role The Department of Medicine at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons seeks an experienced Endocrinologist to join a new, large multi-specialty medical practice in Westchester, adjacent to New York City. We are recruiting for two levels: Assistant Clinical Endocrinologist (mid-career) and Associate Clinical Endocrinologist (experienced). What You'll Do
- Deliver exceptional, specialized patient care with consistently excellent outcomes.
- Mentor junior colleagues, supporting their professional development and growth.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives, including quality improvement and patient safety efforts.
- Engage in continuing medical education (CME) and maintain relevant advanced certifications.
- Serve as a trusted resource for complex cases and high-acuity patients.
- Achieve and maintain high patient satisfaction scores.
- Meet or exceed productivity targets.
- For the Associate Clinical level: lead initiatives to improve clinical workflows, act as liaison between clinical staff and leadership, oversee clinical teams or programs, mentor peers and junior physicians, and represent the department or institution in professional/public-facing roles. What We're Looking For
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
- Board certified or eligible in Endocrinology.
- Fellowship training in Endocrinology.
- Current New York State Medical License.
- Minimum qualifications differ by track: Assistant Clinical: 0-5 years post-training; Associate Clinical: 5-10 years post-training.
- Medical clearance and participation in the medical surveillance program.
- Completion of compliance and systems training requirements. Nice to Have
- Demonstrated leadership roles or ongoing contributions to institutional goals (e.g., program leadership, committee chairs). Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $230,000 – $290,000 annually (USD).
