About the Role Taft is seeking a team-oriented associate to join its Employment and Labor practice group in the Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and a focus on management-side employment law counseling and litigation, with wage and hour collective and class actions experience being a plus. What You'll Do
- Provide management-side employment law counseling and litigation support for clients.
- Assist with wage and hour collective and class actions when applicable.
- Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, briefs, and pleadings, and contribute to strategy development.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Employment and Labor practice to serve client needs. What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in employment and labor law.
- Strong academic and professional credentials with excellent research, writing, analytical, and verbal skills.
- Experience with or interest in management-side employment law counseling and litigation.
- Bonus: experience with wage and hour collective and class actions. Nice to Have
