About the Role Amgen is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to support Employee Relations across assigned countries within the EMEA region. The role involves conducting HR investigations, providing practical guidance to managers and employees, and advising leaders on a broad range of employee relations matters. The position reports to the Regional Employee Relations Lead and collaborates with Compliance, Legal (in-house and external), and other HR stakeholders to protect Amgen’s values. What You'll Do

  • Conduct thorough, timely and impartial HR investigations across assigned countries within the EMEA region, involving employees at all levels of the organisation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to all issues, ensuring investigations are objective and respectful.
  • Prepare professional, well-documented investigation records, including investigation plans, interview notes, and summaries.
  • Present investigation findings to HR colleagues, Legal partners, and business leaders clearly, concisely, and objectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners across assigned countries within the EMEA region.
  • Provide people leaders with expert advice and practical guidance on the fair and consistent application of policies and procedures, enabling them to manage employee issues confidently and appropriately.
  • Act as trusted adviser to leaders on performance management, probation, behaviour and capability issues, disciplinary and grievance cases, workplace adjustments / accommodations, and conflict resolution. What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience conducting thorough, impartial HR investigations across multiple countries and levels.
  • Knowledge of HR investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, or other inappropriate behaviour.
  • Ability to provide practical guidance and coaching to people leaders on fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with key partners across the EMEA region, including Compliance, Legal (in-house and external), and HR stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills for sharing investigation findings with HR colleagues, Legal partners, and business leaders.
