About the Role This position collaborates with HR and stakeholders inside and outside MLJ to handle employee relations (ER) matters, coordinating with internal and external experts (lawyers, social insurance labor staff, occupational health, etc.). Occasional collaboration with Global/Region. The role will involve ER case management, policy communications, and internal/external investigations, with the potential to lead ER responsibilities in the future. A solid knowledge of labor laws, compliance and risk mindset is required. What You'll Do
- Support ER investigations for internal staff (HRBP) and CT employees (AG) in coordination with Legal, Compliance and other functions, and assist with external investigations (HRBP, Sales) in collaboration with legal/compliance teams.
- Manage ER case work, maintain reporting channels, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including liaison with external counsel on litigation cases.
- Develop and maintain internal reporting systems and whistleblower channels; collaborate with Compliance on internal controls, labor regulations, and labor-management agreements; monitor legal amendments and respond to labor inspections.
- Prepare for and eventually lead ER-related activities as the team grows; work across HR projects as needed. What We're Looking For
