Job Summary
An employee benefits organization is seeking an Open Enrollment & Onboarding Specialist to manage group implementations and vendor performance. This hybrid role ensures a seamless setup and high-quality enrollment experience for employer groups and members.
Key Responsibilities

Group Onboarding & Platform Configuration

Onboard new employer groups onto our open enrollment platform.

Configure employer contribution structures, employee classes, eligibility rules, and plan setup for each group.

Ensure data accuracy and completeness before handoff to the enrollment firm.

Enrollment Firm Oversight

Serve as the primary point of contact and oversight for our enrollment partner, ensuring accounts are properly staffed to meet seasonal enrollment volume.

Monitor staffing levels against group pipeline and enrollment deadlines, escalating capacity issues proactively.

Conduct QA reviews of enrollment calls/sessions to ensure compliance, accuracy, and quality standards are met.

Identify training gaps and coordinate additional training sessions with the enrollment firm's team as needed.

Performance & Member Monitoring

Track groups actively moving through the OE process, monitoring timeliness against enrollment windows.

Monitor and support upselling of ancillary/voluntary products during the enrollment process.

Ensure a high-quality member experience throughout enrollment, addressing issues in real time.

Handoff & Implementation Coordination

Coordinate end-of-OE handoff with the Implementation team to activate completed accounts.

Ensure clean data transfer and documentation so Implementation can activate without delay or rework.

Candidate Requirements

Experience: 3+ years of experience in employee benefits administration, open enrollment, benefits/TPA operations, or a related field.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of group health plan structures including contributions, classes, and eligibility.

Quality Assurance: Comfortable reviewing calls/sessions for QA and providing clear, constructive feedback to partners.

Licensing: Active Life & Health (L&H) license is preferred.

Compensation & Work Schedule

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 (commensurate with experience).

Work Schedule: Hybrid arrangement allowing for 2-3 days working from home per week.
