Emergency Response Team Specialist

About the Role Join the Emergency Response Team to respond to fire, medical, and hazardous materials incidents at Wolfspeed's Marcy, NY site. This role requires high physical stamina, the ability to operate safety equipment, and strict adherence to safety protocols around hazardous materials. The position may involve long shifts and hands-on emergency response duties. What You'll Do

• Perform strenuous physical activities associated with response to fire, medical, and hazardous materials emergencies, such as lifting items up to 50 lbs.
• Operate hand-held equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies.
• Work in confined spaces; moving patients with or without assistance.
• Bend; stand; climb or walk for up to 12 hours per shift.
• Must medically qualify to wear a self-contained breathing apparatus.
• Position requires employees to work around hazardous materials. What We're Looking For

• Salary: $25.60 - $35.20 per hour.
• The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.
