Catawba Valley Medical Center is located in Hickory, NC in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Its population is around 45K and is the hub for a population of 365K. Pay will be in the range of : $225-250/hr
Wake Forest Emergency Providers is now one of the largest, non-profit, emergency provider groups in the US with 500+ providers working in over 30 sites of care. We provide a compassionate care model and an innovative practice model including transparent financials and the ability to suggest and implement improvements in care. Although we are large, we have a relatively flat organizational structure and low administrative overhead which helps physicians maximize their incentive compensation and limits some of the headaches experienced in more bureaucratic environments. We have responsible staffing to prevent physician burnout. We have extremely low turnover compared to our competitors. The large majority of our hiring is due to growth or continued increases in patient volumes.
