About the Role Emergency Maintenance Group Supervisor II at Tenaris leads maintenance activities within the Houston facilities to minimize production downtime by ensuring correct diagnosis of failures and timely interventions to maintain equipment availability and reliability. What You'll Do
- Performs simple inspections on operative equipment.
- Verifies technical resource availability, ensuring a suitable minimum stock.
- Supports BMGs in the execution of preventive tasks during the normal course of production and/or scheduled interventions.
- Supports BMGs in the execution of failure analyses.
- Manages and updates the maintenance information system and technical documentation, keeping records related to his/her area.
- Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures.
- Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area. What We're Looking For
- Experience in maintenance and the ability to diagnose problems and coordinate interventions to minimize impact on production.
- Capability to perform inspections, coordinate preventive tasks and contribute to failure analyses.
- Experience with maintenance information systems and maintaining technical documentation.
- Leadership skills with a focus on coaching, staff development and adherence to HR norms and procedures.
- Commitment to safeguarding facilities and equipment.
