Job title: Embryologist
About the Role The Embryologist performs assisted reproduction technology (ART) laboratory techniques for reproductive health procedures, and independently handles key projects within the lab. This role requires performing procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control processes, including oocyte retrieval, insemination, pronuclear assessment, embryo culture, gamete genetic diagnosis (PGD), and semen analysis. The Embryologist evaluates clinical specimens, prepares samples, selects specimens for transfer, and oversees development and quality assessment of embryos; research participation is also expected. Flexibility in schedule is required due to the nature of work.
What You'll Do
- Perform ART laboratory techniques including oocyte retrieval, insemination, pronuclear assessment, embryo culture, PGD, and semen analysis in accordance with SOPs and quality control.
- Evaluate clinical specimens, prepare samples, select specimens for transfer, and oversee development, growth, and quality assessment of embryos.
- Participate in and support research projects conducted by faculty members in the division.
- Maintain flexibility in schedule as required by the nature of work.
What We're Looking For
