Responsibilities

• Embedded Linux kernel engineer for I/O virtualization: makes devices such as storage, network and GPU shareable between virtual machines on a Xen-based automotive platform, writing Virtio and passthrough drivers in C.

Skills

• Must have

• I/O virtualization on embedded or automotive platforms

• Device passthrough and para-virtualized drivers

• Xen Hypervisor (Dom0/DomU) or KVM / QNX

• Virtio framework

• Linux kernel driver development

• Strong C programming

• Experience: 6+ years in embedded Linux kernel or system software development.

• Nice to have

• Automotive Embedded Linux / IVI

• Virtualized graphics, audio, camera or networking

• Open source Linux / Xen community experience
