The ideal candidate will lead and coordinate embedded software activities, manage and mentor engineering teams, and drive the full software lifecycle in compliance with space standards and quality processes. 📌 Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage a team of embedded software engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.• Drive the complete software development lifecycle: planning, design, implementation, testing, validation, and deployment.• Apply systems engineering best practices, particularly during conception, specification, and design phases.• Design, implement, and optimize embedded software solutions for microprocessor-based systems ensuring performance, reliability, and quality.• Contribute to MBSE activities using tools such as Capella and Enterprise Architect.• Ensure compliance with applicable space standards (ESA ECSS or similar) and quality validation processes.• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation.• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams involved in GNSS-based systems and complex space solutions. 🎯 Requirements • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the space sector.• Proven experience leading and managing software engineering teams.• Strong experience with embedded software development in C and C++.• Experience with microprocessor-based systems and Linux environments, especially PetaLinux.• Solid knowledge of Python programming.• Experience with software version management tools.• Experience with quality validation processes.• Strong background in systems engineering best practices, particularly in early lifecycle phases.• Hands-on experience with MBSE tools such as Capella and Enterprise Architect (advanced level).• Good understanding of GNSS systems, including system concepts, GNSS signals, performance, RF interference detection
