About this role
Job title: Embedded Memory Circuit Designer
About the Role Synopsys is seeking an Embedded Memory Circuit Designer to lead transistor-level design and verification of embedded memories, focusing on bitcells, leakage, speed, density, and yield. You will work hands-on with schematics, tracing through bitcells, diagnosing why corner cases fail, and iterating until the design is robust.
What You'll Do
- Design and analyze embedded memory circuits (bitcells) at the transistor level
- Debug corner cases by tracing schematics and identifying failure causes
- Iterate on hypotheses, test changes, and drive solutions autonomously
- Collaborate with design leads, bring your own ideas, challenge assumptions when the data supports it
What We're Looking For
- Deep experience with transistor-level circuit design, especially embedded memories
- Understanding of leakage, speed, density, and yield in memory designs
- Proficiency with schematic-level debugging and failure analysis
- Proven ability to work independently, take ownership, and iterate until it works
- Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision making
