About the Role Embedded software engineer to develop technology for our clients' mission-forward challenges. You will write, test, and edit code that connects software components, reverse engineer software to support hardware functionality, and configure solutions based on platform. You’ll collaborate with leadership and cybersecurity specialists to troubleshoot issues and ensure security, making a meaningful impact. What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain embedded software for hardware devices; write and optimize code to enable communication between software components for mission-focused challenges.
- Collaborate with team leadership to troubleshoot operational issues and with cybersecurity specialists to ensure secure software.
- Write, test, and edit code, and reverse engineer software to support hardware functionality across a wide range of devices; configure solutions based on the platform being used. What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience with software development using C++ and Java
- 6+ years of experience with software system requirements analysis, design, development, integration, or testing
- Experience with Python development and pytest
- Experience with assembly languages development or reversing
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor's degree Nice to Have
- Experience with C
- Experience with GIT repository, Maven, and Bamboo
- Experience with Jenkins scripting
- Experience with Java GUI programming
- Experience with XML and XSLT
- Experience with Unit test development using CppUnit, GMock, pytest or other similar software test frameworks Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD)
