About the Role Responsible for directing subcontractor electrical activities on the AMIRAL P02 & 03 projects in Al Jubail, ensuring on-schedule, on-budget delivery with the necessary quality and safety standards. Reports to the Construction Manager; may lead one or more assistants. Works with the project team to address constructability and feasibility issues. What You'll Do
- Review supplier material and technical documentation delivery schedules; ensure compatibility with construction schedules and contractual commitments; monitor for delays and drive recovery actions.
- Verify subcontractor equipment and manpower adequacy; ensure works conform to design documents, safety regulations, and defined quality levels.
- Prepare non-conformity registers for each subcontractor and coordinate resolution.
- Detect design errors and rectify or request site engineer changes.
- Review subcontractors' progress status sheets and sign off for approval.
- Manage vendor specialists.
- Assist the contract engineer in defining new prices, preparing subcontract amendments, and analyzing/ discussing claims.
- In home office (whenever possible) cooperate with the project team for constructability and feasibility studies, participate with APPAL for technical tabulation of civil bidders' proposals and clarification meetings with bidders, and with the civil department to analyze and define WR to be included in the subcontractor scope. What We're Looking For
- Knowledge & Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years; significant EPC Oil & Gas projects / Refinery experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Attention to detail; management; Team-oriented; self-motivation and direction; strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
