🔥 Are You the Mechanic Other Mechanics Call for Help? Propak Energy Services is looking for an Elite CAT 3600 & Waukesha Mechanic to join our field service team! This is a senior-level, hands-on role for experienced professionals who can independently tackle complex overhauls, troubleshooting, startups, and commissioning projects on large natural gas engines and compressor packages. ✅ CAT 3600 Master Mechanic Training Required ✅ Extensive CAT 3600 and/or Waukesha VHP/VGF Experience ✅ Field Service & Commissioning Expertise ✅ Travel-Ready for Domestic & International Projects
🛠 What You'll Be Doing 🔹 Diagnose, repair, and overhaul CAT 3500/3600 and Waukesha VHP/VGF engines 🔹 Lead startup and commissioning activities for gas compression equipment 🔹 Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls issues 🔹 Support Ariel reciprocating compressors 🔹 Lead overhaul and turnaround projects 🔹 Mentor junior technicians and coordinate field teams 🔹 Work directly with customers and provide technical expertise 🔹 Ensure safety, quality, and documentation standards are met
✅ What We're Looking For ✔️ 1+ year of hands-on experience with CAT or Waukesha gas engines ✔️ Verified CAT 3600 Master Mechanic Certification ✔️ Experience leading major engine overhauls and commissioning projects ✔️ Knowledge of CAT diagnostic software ✔️ Ariel compressor experience or training preferred ✔️ Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills ✔️ Valid driver's license and clean driving record ✔️ Ability to travel and work overtime when required ✔️ Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
