- Electronic Technician: Perform complex testing, diagnosis and maintenance of electronically operated equipment or systems; locate source of malfunctions to ensure maximum system performance; perform equipment inspections; recommend improvements and analyze failures to ensure proper maintenance.
- Maintenance Mechanic MPE: Conduct comprehensive troubleshooting and complex maintenance operations across the fleet of mail processing equipment; perform preventive maintenance and inspections on mail processing and powered industrial equipment; perform difficult testing requiring knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic operating mechanisms; observe/test systems to locate malfunctions; initiate work orders and estimate time and materials.
- Maintenance Mechanic: Perform semi-skilled preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on mail processing equipment, building equipment, and powered industrial equipment; perform maintenance on simple control circuitry, bearings, motors, belts and other parts; assemble/install/replace/repair/modify small operating equipment; under the direction of skilled maintenance employees, perform tasks related to disassembling equipment, replacing parts, relocating and reassembling equipment.
- Laborer Custodial: Perform janitorial duties (cleaning, scrubbing, waxing, polishing floors); care for lawns and shrubs and clean sidewalks, driveways; operate power-driven equipment (floor scrubbers, sanders, waxers, wall washers); stack supplies, move furniture and equipment; general laboring duties; make minor repairs to building and equipment. What We're Looking For
- Strong diagnostic, preventive maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
- Ability to inspect, test and diagnose issues in mail processing equipment and building systems; ability to recommend improvements and initiate corrective actions.
- Experience with reading and interpreting mechanical/electrical/electronic operating mechanisms and schematics; capable of performing repairs and implementing maintenance plans.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding, hands-on work and operate in a facility environment.
- Collaborative, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced modernization context.
