Overview

Responsibilities
As an Electronic Field Engineer II, you will:

Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, installation, calibration, repair, and modification of equipment and systems.

Solve technical problems in accordance with prescribed specifications.

Conduct laboratory and shipboard work.

Conduct submarine ship checks to determine the necessary efforts to seamlessly install systems onboard a platform.

Draft Memorandums of Agreement, Work Authorization Forms, System Tag outs and Controlled work packages.

Provide technical input and review for developing new Temporary Alterations (TempAlts), Operational Alterations (OpAlts) and Ship Alterations (ShipAlts).

Author detailed reports.
Qualifications

Ability to obtain a secret clearance

U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance

High School Diploma or GED
-
At least 6+ years of experience working with sonar systems as a sonar technician in the Navy
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $65,000.00/Yr. - USD $75,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
