We are seeking a skilled Electronic Assembler to join a high-performance manufacturing team supporting advanced electronics production in the Hollister area. This position is ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and experience working with precision electronics—especially in industries such as aerospace, defense, or advanced technology.
Job Description:
- Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and complex units according to specifications
- Hand-load PCBs using schematics, visual aids, and engineering drawings
- Identify component values and ensure accurate placement
- Perform soldering on a variety of component sizes, including fine-pitch components
- Solder under a microscope using both leaded and lead-free materials
- Inspect assemblies and troubleshoot/repair soldering defects
- Perform rework, modifications, and reassembly as needed
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols and proper handling procedures
- Ensure all work meets quality and compliance standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production team
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Hands-on experience with PCB assembly, hand loading, and inspection
- Experience soldering under magnification (microscope)
- Knowledge of electronic assembly acceptance standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Pay & Schedule:
- Pay: 20 - 25/hr
- Shift: Thursday - Sunday
- Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm
