About the Role As an Electromechanical Designer-Cable at ZF, you will lead multi-domain projects from concept to series production and contribute to shaping the future of mobility within the CV Solutions division. What You'll Do
- Lead a multi-domain project team through all project phases, from first idea to series production
- Ensure planning and execution of all engineering tasks along the ZF-CVS product development process
- Meet project goals in terms of time, cost and quality
- Define the validation plan, review and approve test results
- Diagnose and resolve design reviews, test failures, and field claims
- Act as process expert to improve supplier production capability including cable localization, injection, over molding, stamping, press-fit pins, etc.
- Collaborate with local engineering teams and global Cable & ECU housing design teams
- Perform other tasks as assigned by line manager What We're Looking For
- Degree in engineering, material forming, with focus on automotive engineering, mechatronics
- Solid experience in complex cable harness, ECU housing, connection system, and press-fit pin design and processes
- Experience in cable harness, ECU housing, connection technology testing and troubleshooting
- Good command of English (written and verbal)
- Beneficial: knowledge of 3D CAD (Creo), PLM and PTC requirements management Nice to Have
