About this role
About the Role Support plant equipment reliability by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime. This role reports to the Plant Engineer and contributes to continuous improvement of equipment and processes on night shift. What You'll Do
- Understand and follow safety policies; perform tasks safely; identify safety risks and work to reduce them.
- Supply and maintain your own tools.
- Document and perform preventive/predictive maintenance to eliminate equipment breakdowns, using C-Works.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment currently in use in a timely manner.
- Understand overall equipment operation/function as it applies to maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and reliability of sub-components.
- Use shop tools: lathes, drills, milling machines, welders, etc.
