About the Role Support plant equipment reliability by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime. This role reports to the Plant Engineer and contributes to continuous improvement of equipment and processes on night shift. What You'll Do
- Understand and follow safety policies; perform tasks safely; identify safety risks and work to reduce them.
- Supply and maintain your own tools.
- Document and perform preventive/predictive maintenance to eliminate equipment breakdowns, using C-Works.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment currently in use in a timely manner.
- Understand overall equipment operation/function as it applies to maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and reliability of sub-components.
- Use shop tools: lathes, drills, milling machines, welders, etc.
- Communicate effectively with operations personnel to identify and resolve abnormal/degraded equipment conditions impacting safety, quality or productivity.
- Read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Install/troubleshoot/repair AC and DC drives/motors.
- Modify/read/troubleshoot/install PLC programs.
- Fabricate and install various electrical, piping, pneumatic and mechanical equipment.
- Rebuild various parts/equipment.
- Demonstrate ability to pass Category 2 electrical safe work practices and use PPE as required. What We're Looking For

- At least 2-3 years of maintenance/electrical/mechanical experience.
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Proficient with PLCs, AC/DC drives and motors; capable of using shop tools and fabricating components.
- Strong communication with operations and willingness to work the night shift (7PM-7AM, rotating) with a $1.00 per hour differential. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $32.88 - $41.31 per hour (depending on experience) with a $1.00 per hour night shift differential.
