Job title: Electromechanic / Electromechanical Technician – Rotating Machinery
About the Role The Electromechanic specializing in rotating machinery is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and diagnosing industrial equipment such as electric motors, blowers, pumps, fans, compressors, and other rotating systems. The role also includes performing preventive and corrective maintenance, vibration analysis, troubleshooting, and contributing to equipment reliability improvements.
What You'll Do
- Install, inspect, and repair electromechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures.
- Perform laser alignment or dial indicator alignment.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Conduct operational tests after repairs.
- Prepare maintenance and service reports.
- Comply with workplace health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams.
- Use lifting and handling equipment to move heavy parts.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma in Electromechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or an equivalent field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with tools such as multimeter, vibration analysis tool, tachometer.
- Good physical condition.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

- Experience with laser alignment (asset).
