An Electro-Mechanical Assembler responsible for assembly, testing, lot and serial management, material controls, process adherence, and maintaining a clean and hygienic manufacturing area. A successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, specifically with smaller detailed assemblies requiring a strong attention to detail.

Required:

• High School diploma.
• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Skilled in complex electromechanical assembly.
• Skilled in the safe handling of Printed Circuit boards and electronic components.
• Ability to solder and use basic electronic test equipment.
• Experience reviewing Medical Device, Device History Records strongly preferred.
• Must be able to problem-solve independently and when working as a team.
• Ability to assemble complex assemblies requiring a high level of accuracy and precision.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, specifically with smaller detailed assemblies requiring a strong attention to detail.
• Understand the appropriate use of fasteners, torque wrenches, thread lock and other bonding agents.
• Ability to read work instructions, schematics, assembly drawings, and prints.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience in metrology techniques a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assembly and testing of a medical device including the main console and hand piece
• Responsible for meeting production demands within the work cell.
• Responsible for ensuring that final products meet quality objectives and specifications.
• Responsible for accurate recording keeping when assembling, inspecting, and repairing products or materials.
• Work alongside quality with investigation of non-conformances.
• Technical support on equipment and processes with respect to process yields, equipment OEE, TPM and health and safety.
• Work with manufacturing engineering to develop and troubleshoot processes and procedures.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of work instructions and documentation in area of responsibility.
• Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Adhere to quality and compliance standards to ensure safe and effective use of equipment and tools in the manufacturing of medical devices.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships cross functionally including production, QA, QC, engineering, validation, and maintenance.

Pay: $25/hr - $30/hr.
