Job title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
About the Role Electro-Mechanical Assembler based in Denton, TX, responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components that support manufacturing operations. This role ensures products meet quality standards, production schedules, and engineering specifications while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Assemble, test, and inspect electro-mechanical products in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Ensure all assemblies meet ESAB quality standards and customer expectations.
- Follow assembly and testing instructions thoroughly and accurately, performing drilling, crimping, screwing, deburring, tapping, and precision measuring.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with 5S principles.
- Report defective materials, equipment issues, and questionable conditions to the department lead or supervisor.
- Document assembly, testing, and repair activities using established record-keeping systems.
- Retrieve and utilize drawings and documentation from company systems as required.
- Complete assigned tasks in accordance with production schedules and supervisory direction.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2–5 years of related electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings; ability to understand, follow, and communicate verbal and written instructions.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Tools/Skills: Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and precision measuring devices; soldering and brazing experience preferred.
- Working Conditions: PPE required on the production floor; ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; occasional outdoor conditions and temperature variations.
