• Volt is immediately hiring for an Electrician for a Direct Hire opportunity in Visalia, CA.

As an Electrician, you will:

• The primary responsibility of the Electrician is to maintain all electrical aspects of the facility and equipment.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, transformers, and control components.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand layouts in industrial and facility settings.

• Inspect electrical components for safety, functionality, and compliance with local and national electrical codes.

• Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices such as multimeters, circuit testers, and other diagnostic tools.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, sensors, and other automation components. Include connecting to PLC device and communicate to trouble shoot (I/O and Ip addressing, troubleshooting, Up/Down-loading software. Ability to write programs will be a bonus but not a requirement. Familiar with Allen Bradley Logix 5000, factory talk software, Ignition, Wonderware. Etc.

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and avoid unexpected breakdowns.

• Assist with mechanical tasks as needed, including equipment teardown, rebuilds, and support during emergency repairs or downtime.

• Collaborate with other trades and contractors to support cross-functional maintenance and improvement efforts.

• Upgrade outdated electrical systems by replacing old wiring, panels, and fixtures to meet current standards.

• Document work performed and maintained accurate records using the facility’s CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

• Respond to emergency calls and provide quick, effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain operations.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety protocols.

• Support energy efficiency initiatives by identifying and implementing electrical system upgrades

• Always on ahead on technology. New hardware, firmware. Forward think to support factory automation.

• This is a full-time Direct Hire opportunity.

• Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-4pm subject to weekends/holidays and overtime.

the ideal candidate will have:

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, automation controls, codes, and safety regulations.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and control issues.

• Attention to Detail: Precision in work to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance. With NFPA and NFPA 70, NFPA 70e.

• Pay Rate: $45.00 - 50.00 per hour DOE

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

• Benefits: Benefits will be provided by the client as this is a direct hire role.
