About the Role Reporting to the Plant Engineer – Presidents Island Memphis, the Industrial Electrician/Instrumentation Tech will be responsible for achieving a high level of reliability for plant equipment by performing tasks to reduce machine downtime and enable the facility to perform at optimum levels. What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance as assigned daily, weekly, monthly, etc.
- Sign out all parts taken from the storeroom returning any that were not used
- Fill out work order detail
- Help troubleshoot and repair operational equipment as needed
- Participate in the continuous improvement efforts on maintenance effectiveness to eliminate breakdowns and increase equipment reliability.
- Inspect assigned equipment to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Verify all safety devices (guards, control circuit devices, stop blocks, etc.) on assigned equipment are always intact and properly secured.
- Follow all energy isolation requirements. What We're Looking For
- Have 5 years industrial/commercial electrician experience
- Journeyman License or Industrial Electrician License required within 6 months of employment.
- Vocational training preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC, HMI and electrical issues
- Ability to read electrical prints and perform job layouts for electrical devices and circuitry.
- Pneumatic control or hydraulic system experience preferred
- Familiar with the use of a welder and an oxy-acetylene torch
- Able to lift 50 pounds Nice to Have

- Salary range: $34.90 - $47.29 per hour
