About the Role Electrician at REV Group (Spartan Emergency Response) is responsible for assembling electrical components and ensuring products meet engineering specs. The role involves wiring harnesses, programming lights, troubleshooting circuits, testing performance, reading specs to build per spec, and performing functionality checks on safety and lighting systems, while addressing quality issues. What You'll Do
- Assemble under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of electrical components
- Program lights from engineering specs
- Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry
- Test products to ensure performance to specifications
- Read specs to ensure trucks are built per spec
- Perform functionality checks on air horns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, door locks, etc.
- Fix quality issues What We're Looking For
- Preferred 1-2 years of automotive electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
- Preferred high school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts with written and verbal instructions
- Ability to understand 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry
- Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements
- Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills and screw guns
- Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations
- Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
- Ability to work in a team environment
