Job title: Electrician - Power and Control
About the Role Electrician for Power and Control at ANDRITZ Hydro will perform electrical installation, testing, and commissioning tasks on electrical infrastructure. The role includes assembling and modifying electrical panels, running cables, installing infrastructure (conduit, cable tray, and raceways), and reading electrical diagrams to ensure proper operation and instrumentation storage.
What You'll Do
- Operate Megger (ohmic resistance testing) and Hi-pot (commissioning) of electrical systems
- Assemble electrical infrastructure such as conduit, cable tray, and raceways
- Carry out cabling installation
- Assemble and adjust RT/RV panels, auxiliary systems (CCM, cubicles) and electrical systems in general
- Identify cables and terminals
- Identify and correctly store instrumentation sensors of the UG
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma required
- Technical diploma/certification in Electrical or Electro-Electronic fields preferred
- Experience in electrical infrastructure and panels assembly
- Ability to perform electrical tests (Megger and Hi-pot)
- Knowledge in cable laying and identification of cables and terminals
- Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams
- Strong desire to learn and grow with ANDRITZ Hydro
Nice to Have
- Technical training in Electrical or Electro-electronic – preferred
