About this role
This position is responsible for maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. Examples of duties include understanding and applying blueprints and technical diagrams; using devices such as ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners and cable testers, as well as hand and power tools; installing or replacing wiring, lighting, electrical controls, breakers and other electrical devices; inspecting and maintaining electrical systems in homes and businesses; adhering to state and local building regulations and completing work orders on time; documenting the work completed and materials used; working with other electricians, general contractors, architects and other team members; assisting other trades when needed; and other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications: Technical School completion with some experience.
