About the Role HelloRache is seeking Electricians to join our Electrical Service team in the Columbia, SC area. What You'll Do
- Diagnose and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair commercial electrical systems, ensuring safety and functionality.
- Install and Maintain: Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, lighting, and fixtures in commercial settings.
- System Maintenance: Perform inspections and corrective maintenance on circuit breakers, transformers, and electrical panels.
- Code Compliance: Follow national electrical codes and state/local regulations for all work.
- Documentation: Track repairs, installations, and maintenance in trade software.
- Customer Engagement: Communicate with clients, explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide informed system performance advice.
What We're Looking For
- Education/Experience: Minimum high school diploma/GED and two years of experience in the electrical field.
- Certifications, Licenses, etc.: Journeyman Electrical Certificate.
- Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Strong working knowledge of job site safety and ability to complete a company-specific safety orientation. Good understanding of the National Electrical Codes. High integrity and professionalism. Working knowledge of OSHA workplace safety regulations.
- License/Certification: Driver's License (Required).
- Ability to Relocate: Columbia, SC — Relocate before starting work (Required).
- Work Location: In person.
- Experience: Commercial electrical construction: 2 years (Preferred).
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in commercial electrical construction (2 years) as a preferred qualification.
