About the Role Join E-ONE in Hamburg, NY as an Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Technician responsible for assembling and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems for fire rescue vehicles. This role supports high-quality assembly, extensive wiring work, and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do
- Independently read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and schematics
- Assemble and install harnesses, switch panels, electrical and mechanical components
- Program lighting systems per engineering specifications
- Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC systems
- Perform repairs and rebuilds on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Conduct functional testing and diagnose faults
- Trace wiring, repair connections, and replace components as needed
- Perform equipment setup and changeovers
- Identify discrepancies in prints, BOMs, and shop orders What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems (12V DC & 110V AC)
- Mechanical assembly experience
- Ability to interpret engineering documentation independently
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems (preferred)
- Problem solving and corrective actions
- Identify non-conforming products and contribute to corrective/preventive actions
- Maintain high quality and productivity standards; LEAN/continuous improvement mindset
- Flexibility across work areas and effective communication with supervisors and team members Nice to Have

- Base pay: $16.50 - $26.00 per hour (New York location)
