About the Role Volt is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Test Technician to perform product testing, inspection, and troubleshooting in a restricted-access testing laboratory. This role involves working with high-voltage electrical systems (up to 690V) and advanced electronic test equipment to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards. What You'll Do
- Conduct visual inspections and electrical product testing in accordance with established SOPs in a secure lab environment.
- Operate specialized electrical test equipment, including: Variacs, Hi-Pot and Ground Bond Testers, Power Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Current Clamps, Digital Multimeters.
- Accurately record, document, and analyze test results to ensure products meet defined specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain and update the test report database, ensuring proper data tracking and reporting.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical test failures using proven diagnostic techniques, tools, and analytical thinking.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and support a culture of injury-free operations in a Lean manufacturing / one-piece flow environment. What We're Looking For
- Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical testing, including high-voltage systems up to 690V.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proven expertise in electrical troubleshooting and failure analysis.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and compliance in high-voltage environments. Nice to Have

- Pay Rate: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
