About the Role Join Sonoco as an Electrical Technician in our Richmond, VA facility. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems on production equipment to keep manufacturing running safely and efficiently. What You'll Do
- Perform electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Install, modify, and replace electrical components and wiring while following safety standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance team to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Adhere to Sonoco safety, quality, and process standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and parts usage. What We're Looking For
- Experience with electrical systems in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems and read electrical schematics.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs and automation is a plus.
- Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.
- Availability for Day Shift. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $35.51/hr; Day Shift (1st) at Richmond, VA facility.
