About the Role The Electrical Project Control Engineer will scope, engineer, design, and install projects at the Circleville facility, including new installations and modifications to existing processes. This role requires managing complex projects that may span multiple engineering disciplines and coordinating with contractors, operations, maintenance, vendors, purchasing, and EHS to ensure safety, quality, and productivity. What You'll Do
- Develop project plans and conceptually design systems, communicating plans to technical and non-technical personnel.
- Create scope documents, obtain bids, write ACT requests, oversee construction, schedule outages, and assist in startup operations.
- Develop project budgets and schedules to drive on-time completion within constraints.
- Track spending from conception to commissioning and report trends, adjusting to stay within authorization amounts.
- Assist in diagnosing operational problems and perform maintenance troubleshooting.
- Oversee process control installations, improvements, infrastructure, plant power distribution, and supporting systems in the Resin Plant.
- Develop and institutionalize operating and training programs related to projects and the skill sets of maintenance and operations personnel.
- Ensure OSHA PSM, TS16949, and environmental permitting requirements are met. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
- 5 years of controls / DCS / PLC experience.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming in an industrial environment or willingness to learn.
- Experience with GE Proficy iFix SCADA, HMI, and historian software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical personnel; excellent problem-solving abilities; ability to conceptualize systems. Nice to Have
