Electrical Pre-Construction Manager

This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing electrical work packages, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mission-critical facilities and understands the unique demands of high-reliability environments.

Location This role is based out of our Lenexa, Kansas office initially. Could transition to on-site to support our Data Center work across North America.
Responsibilities Project Leadership: Oversee all electrical aspects of data center construction projects from preconstruction hand off and project support through commissioning. Budget & Scheduling: Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and schedules for electrical systems. Coordination: Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to NEC, NFPA, and local codes, as well as client standards for mission-critical facilities. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to electrical scope, including redundancy and uptime requirements. Procurement: Manage material and equipment procurement for electrical systems, including switchgear, UPS, generators, and distribution panels. Team Management: Lead and mentor electrical engineers, field supervisors, and subcontractors. Client Interface: Serve as primary point of contact for electrical scope with clients and consultants
