About the Role The Hershey Company Hazleton Plant in Hazle Township, PA is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain electrical control equipment and instrumentation in a high-speed manufacturing environment. The role requires a minimum of two years of education in electrical technology or four years of recent experience in the maintenance of control equipment and instrumentation used in manufacturing control systems. The position includes a starting pay rate of 40.86 per hour, a 0.45 per hour differential for second and third shifts, a 0.60 per hour differential for 12-hour night shifts, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus, along with a comprehensive total rewards package. What You'll Do
- Maintain electrical control equipment and instrumentation used in manufacturing control systems.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems on high-speed production lines.
- Perform planned preventive maintenance and respond to equipment issues to support continuous operations.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and union site policies; support rotating shifts and overtime as required. What We're Looking For
- Minimum two years of education in electrical technology or four years of recent experience in maintenance of control equipment and instrumentation used in manufacturing control systems.
- Experience maintaining control equipment and instrumentation in manufacturing control systems.
- Ability to work in a union plant environment and support a traditional or continuous operations schedule, including overtime as needed.
- Willingness to work 8-, 12-hour shifts and be flexible for shift changes.
