Job title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
About the Role Provide hands-on electrical support for plant facilities, up to and including 480V/3-phase requirements, to help keep equipment reliable and productive. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventative maintenance of electrical systems and control circuits within a metals manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on electrical support for plant facilities, up to and including 480V/3-phase requirements.
- Troubleshoot, modify and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Plan and coordinate installation of new plant equipment.
- Install control circuitry (motor, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.).
- Plan and perform electrical preventative maintenance.
- Maintain inventories of electrical parts and supplies; gain required approvals and order parts.
- Recommend modifications to improve reliability and productivity of equipment.
- Work with management to resolve recurring problems.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems in a manufacturing/industrial setting, including up to 480V/3-phase.
- Ability to troubleshoot, modify and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Experience planning and coordinating installation of new plant equipment and control circuitry (motor, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.).
- Experience planning and performing electrical preventative maintenance.
- Ability to maintain inventories of electrical parts and supplies, obtain approvals, and order parts.
- Demonstrated ability to propose modifications to improve reliability and productivity and to collaborate with management to resolve recurring problems.
