Job title: Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician
About the Role The Procter & Gamble Greensboro Plant is hiring an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to support high-performance production throughput, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement. This role requires strong electrical mastery to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize plant electrical and control systems, while ensuring safety and quality.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and troubleshoot high-speed packaging, making, and facilities power & controls equipment
- Use electrical test equipment to diagnose problems and implement fixes
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and program PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems
- Troubleshoot and monitor variable frequency drives, servo drives, robotics, and motor control systems
- Repair machine and process control equipment and own assigned systems/equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime, defects, and costs
What We're Looking For
- 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States
- Education: High School/GED; 2-year Electrical Technical Certification; 3+ years of related work experience; or electrical-based AAS or equivalent
- Familiarity with National Electric Code; Low Voltage Qualified desired
- Experience with PLCs and HMIs; instrumentation calibrations; motor control systems; VFDs; servo drives; power distribution (
