About the Role The successful candidate will design wiring harnesses and specify electrical components for mobile agricultural machinery, with a primary focus on Gold Harvest combines in North America and potential global support. This role involves circuit definition, harness routing, and creating wiring diagrams for 12/24-volt systems, enabling reliable integration with propulsion, sensing, and control subsystems. What You'll Do
- Design harness circuits and schematics for agricultural equipment, including relays, fuses, sensors, and transducers
- Create 3D and/or 2D CAD routing for harnesses inside a virtual model
- Provide vendor support for engineering samples, including technical specifications for new devices
- Support manufacturing and engineering teams with design issue resolution across product lines
- Participate in design reviews and deliver routine project updates What We're Looking For
- Ability to specify electrical components for mobile machinery (e.g., relays, fuses, speed sensors, pressure transducers)
- Experience with electrical circuit layout tools is preferred
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- CAD experience with Creo or similar tools required
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, service, manufacturing, purchasing, and other internal groups)
- Willingness and ability to travel ~20% of time
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred (minimum 4-year); other related fields considered
- Experience with agriculture, construction, or related machinery preferred Nice to Have
