Job title: Electrical Hardware Development Lead
About the Role As an Electrical Hardware Development Lead at BorgWarner, you will be responsible for the development and release of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) across multiple technologies. You will provide technical leadership and coordinate the full product development life cycle from concept to serial production, creating hardware specifications that will be implemented by a supplier. You will be the main interface to customers and suppliers for all electrical hardware topics, ensuring HW deadlines, deliverables, and quality targets are achieved while following product development processes and standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development and release of ECU hardware across multiple technologies.
- Create technical specifications for the hardware to be developed by suppliers and manage supplier development.
- Provide project management and technical leadership across customer programs and internal development projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities and communicate with purchasing, sales, project management, software, and quality teams.
- Ensure hardware deadlines, deliverables, and quality targets are met in accordance with BorgWarner processes and standards.
- Serve as the primary interface to customers and suppliers on all electrical hardware topics.
