Job title: Electrical Engineer (P16) - HV Plant, Western Grid
About the Role
Eskom is seeking an Electrical Engineer (P16) to develop and support technology strategies, processes, standards, specifications and designs for the HV Plant in the Western Grid. The role provides technical consulting, investigation and support services to customers, develops engineering solutions, roadmaps and conducts new technologies research, and manages product equipment and technical changes.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical consulting, investigation and support services to customers.
- Produce and integrate asset creation engineering solutions, designs.
- Develop discipline specific philosophies, technical standards, procedures and work practices.
- Provide input into discipline specific roadmaps.
- Conduct discipline specific new technologies research.
- Management and conduct product equipment, material, service development and technical changes management.
