The Job: As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll be part of our Engineering and Quality team working as a hybrid employee. In this role, you will support global product development by combining strong electrical engineering expertise with design assurance and quality engineering capabilities. You will partner cross-functionally with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, sourcing, and regulatory/compliance teams to identify risks early, implement robust controls, and ensure new products meet customer, business, and applicable quality requirements. You'll get to:

  • Serve as the quality and electrical systems subject matter expert on cross-functional new product development teams, ensuring quality requirements are integrated throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Support design control and phase-gate / NPD processes from concept through commercialization, including design quality planning, risk management, design reviews, and verification and validation activities.
  • Lead and support risk management efforts including DFMEA, PFMEA, hazard analysis, FRACA, and mitigation tracking to ensure quality and reliability are designed into products and processes.
  • Develop and implement verification and validation techniques that ensure products meet critical-to-quality requirements, with clear traceability between customer requirements, design inputs, test methods, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Manufacturing and Supplier Quality teams to support effective design transfer, production readiness, nonconformance management, deviation assessments, and change control during development and launch.
  • Apply statistical methodologies, disciplined problem-solving, and continuous improvement practices to monitor development quality metrics, drive root cause analysis, and strengthen NPD quality processes.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, along with 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, design assurance, new product development, and established NPD systems.
  • Experience with electronic design, power systems, embedded systems, firmware-hardware interactions, and controls in complex product development environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of quality tools and methodologies including design quality plans, control plans, DFMEA, PFMEA, hazard analysis, FRACA, corrective and preventive actions, and statistical methods.
  • The ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements, while evaluating electrical design robustness, failure mechanisms, and opportunities to improve quality in design.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across matrixed, cross-functional teams.

The Salary range for this position is $95,600.00 - $153,900.00

This is the lowest to highest annual full-time salary range we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and in compliance with local wage requirements.
