Job title: Electrical Engineer for High Voltage

About the Role Electrical Engineer for High Voltage within Semco Maritime's Renewables Division. You will develop, implement, and maintain HV/MV products and solutions for offshore substations, collaborating with internal teams to standardize solutions and align with client needs across global Offshore Wind projects.

What You'll Do

  • HV/MV product and solutions development and maintenance in line with future market requirements
  • Proposal development based on the architecture framework and the client’s requirements
  • Work closely with our Tender team focusing on Customer Employer Requirements and Semco Maritime's modular architecture
  • Maintain knowledge on market demand and implement product improvements and requirements for product line to fit future projects
  • Coordinate and secure strategic supply chain together with Procurement, including cost-out activities
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap with input on new technologies from the supply chain, organization, and the market
  • Provide supervision and guidance to the development and execution teams
  • Build strong working relationships with the other teams e.g., sales, tender, project management, construction, and in-house engineering

What We're Looking For

  • Experienced HV professional with a product development mindset, preferably from an OEM or engineering organisation
  • Experience with design, procurement and construction of HV and MV systems (electrical distribution, power transformers, GIS switchgear)
  • Familiar with industrial layout design, routing, 3D modelling, structural and weight estimation of HV components, preferably on Offshore Substations
  • Experience with interface management across systems
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Natural team player and collaborator with a drive to develop high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; curiosity and positive mindset
  • Willingness to travel up to 10-30 days annually
  • The position is full-time and located in Esbjerg, Copenhagen, or Gdynia
