About this role

About the Role The Electrical Assembler will perform a wide range of assembly and troubleshooting tasks with moderate independence to support E-ONE fire truck production. This role reads engineering docs and installs electrical and mechanical components, ensuring proper harnessing and system functionality. What You'll Do

  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and schematics.
  • Assemble and install harnesses, switch panels, electrical and mechanical components; program lighting systems per engineering specifications.
  • Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC systems; perform repairs and rebuilds on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct functional testing and diagnose faults; trace wiring, repair connections, and replace components; perform equipment setup and changeovers.
  • Identify discrepancies in prints, BOMs, and shop orders; participate in LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives. What We're Looking For
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems (12V DC & 110V AC) and mechanical assembly; ability to interpret engineering documentation independently.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems (preferred).
  • Problem solving to diagnose issues and implement corrective actions; identify non-conforming products and assist with CAPA.
  • Maintain high quality and productivity standards; flexible across work areas; effective communication with supervisors and team members. Nice to Have
  • Hydraulic systems experience (preferred). Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay range: $16.50 - $26.00 per hour, base pay offered in line with NY location and candidate experience.
