About the Role Johnson Controls is seeking a Third-Year Electrical Apprentice for the Day Shift in Nisku, Alberta. This full-time role supports the electrical trades team within a manufacturing environment, assisting with installation, wiring, and maintenance under supervision. The position is based in Canada and focuses on developing practical electrical skills on the shop floor. What You'll Do
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, wiring, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components.
- Help assemble, test, and commission electrical panels and equipment used in manufacturing processes.
- Follow safety procedures and work under the direction of journeymen to support maintenance and repair tasks. What We're Looking For
- Enrolled in an electrical apprenticeship program and progressing toward journey-level status (3rd year), with willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of electrical theory, safety practices, and reading blueprints or schematics.
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills; ability to work on day shift.
