About this role
About the Role Develop and evolve the middleware integration and API layer between network systems, BSS/OSS platforms and the company's digital services. The role's mission is to ensure correct construction, deployments and stability of the integration flows, applying cloud-native development and CI/CD best practices. What You'll Do
- Develop middleware solutions: Build integration components based on architectural specifications, prioritizing operational efficiency.
- Apply security policies: Implement standard protections (tokens, OAuth 2.0, access control) on the developed endpoints.
- Automate deployments: Actively participate in code publication using CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and optimize: Review the performance of integration applications within container environments.
- Support and troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix incidents in testing and production environments. What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's or graduate in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software or related.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven software development, backend or middleware integration.
- Backend development: Intermediate knowledge of Java and its use in microservices (Quarkus or Spring Boot).
- Integration patterns: Familiarity with Apache Camel to connect systems or transform data formats.
- Container ecosystem: Foundational knowledge of Kubernetes and familiarity with OpenShift (pods, logs).
- API Management: Working knowledge of API management tools (Azure API Management, AWS, WSO2 or 3Scale) for registering and consuming endpoints. Nice to Have
- DevOps Tools: Basic use of automation tools like ArgoCD, Jenkins or Bitbucket.
- Scripting: Basic Python for simple automation tasks.
- Telco Industry: Basic understanding of TM Forum Open APIs or telecom data models.
- AI Frameworks: Basic knowledge or interest in agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI or MCP - Model Context Protocol) focused on connecting Java/Python with LLMs.
